Transportation designed around the rider
Wheelchair-Accessible Transportation should feel organized, respectful, and predictable. National Transit takes time to understand the rider’s mobility, pickup environment, destination requirements, appointment schedule, companion needs, and return-trip plan before transportation is confirmed.
Our role is transportation—not medical care—but we recognize that the quality of the ride can affect a person’s comfort, confidence, and ability to access important services.

Planning the trip
Provide the wheelchair type, approximate size and weight when known, whether it is manual or powered, pickup access conditions, number of companions, appointment time, and any facility instructions.
Please share accurate pickup and destination information, the requested arrival time, mobility needs, whether a companion will travel, and whether a return ride is needed. Our team will review availability and confirm the final trip arrangement directly.
A respectful, non-emergency experience
Drivers focus on courteous assistance, safe vehicle operation, clear communication, and the rider’s dignity. National Transit does not provide emergency response, clinical monitoring, stretcher transportation, or hands-on medical treatment during the ride.
